At Tattoo City Suites, each tattoo artist independently owns and operates their private studio. Policies, scheduling, pricing, and availability may vary by artist, but the following guidelines help ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone.

Contact your chosen artist directly to discuss your tattoo, consultation, availability, and booking process. Each artist manages their own schedule, deposits, and appointments.

Most artists require a non-refundable deposit to reserve your appointment. Deposit amounts, cancellation policies, and payment methods are determined by each individual artist and are applied toward the cost of your tattoo.

Please provide at least 72 hours' notice if you need to reschedule or cancel. Missed appointments or late cancellations may result in the loss of your deposit, according to your artist's policies.

Illinois law requires all tattoo clients to be 18 years of age or older. A valid government-issued photo ID is required before every tattoo appointment.

Because every artist operates independently, booking times and wait lists vary. Some artists may be accepting new clients immediately, while others may be booked weeks or months in advance.

Our artists specialize in creating custom tattoos inspired by your ideas. We do not reproduce another artist's work exactly and reserve the right to decline projects that conflict with our artistic or ethical standards.

Each artist has the right to refuse any tattoo request, placement, or client at their sole discretion. Some artists may decline areas such as fingers, hands, feet, necks, or faces, or other requests they feel are not appropriate.

• Anyone who is pregnant or nursing
• Anyone under the influence of drugs or alcohol
• Hate, racist, gang-related, or other offensive imagery

For the best experience:

• Arrive on time and well rested.
• Eat a good meal beforehand.
• Stay hydrated.
• Moisturize the area for several days before your appointment.
• Avoid sunburns, excessive alcohol, and blood-thinning substances when possible.
• Wear clothing that allows easy access to the tattoo area and that you don't mind getting ink on.

• Please silence your phone and minimize distractions.
• One guest may accompany you if approved by your artist.
• Children are not permitted in procedure areas.
• Please maintain good personal hygiene and avoid heavy perfumes or colognes.

Most tattoos heal in 2–3 weeks, although complete healing takes longer. Avoid swimming, excessive sun exposure, and vacations involving water or prolonged sun immediately after getting tattooed.

Tattooing is a creative profession, and occasionally appointments must be adjusted due to illness, emergencies, or artwork requiring additional preparation. If this happens, your artist will contact you as soon as possible to reschedule.
